Rules & Guidelines

  • Mercenaries may be used to level up to the first level cap (65), however I encourage people leveling up to group with guild members first, and pull out the mercenaries only if absolutely necessary.
  • Defiant gear may be used UNTIL raid gear is acquired.  (Ex.  I level to 65, and am wearing full defiant.  However, these items MUST be replaced with PoP raid items, even if they are at a stat loss to your character.  As we progress to GoD and then OoW, new tiers of defiant items may NOT be equipped, you must stay in your raid gear acquired from PoP or GoD).
  • Do not buy items that are obviously from newer content in the bazaar.  For example there are cloaks, rings, and shoulder items I know for sure that do not say ‘defiant’ on them, but are clearly from a recent expansion.  There are likely more items like this, weapons, augs, etc.  Just be smart and do not purchase or use these items.
  • All spells usable at our current level cap are allowed, as long as the player does not have to physically enter a zone outside of our current expansion.  (Ex.  You may buy a spell from the bazaar that is an expansion ahead, but usable now).
  • All AAs that are purchasable within our current level cap are allowed.
  • Stay at or under the current level cap at all times, temporary leveling to access new content is forbidden.  Players will not be welcome on raids if above the level cap, and depending on how the additional level was utilized, the player may be subject to removal.
  • Only zones in our current expansion and below are allowed to be visited.  Players that visit restricted content areas for any reason will be subject to removal.  While leveling newer zones may be utilized.  50+ it is heavily encouraged to level in the Planes when possible.
  • Expansions are unlocked one month after the previous expansion's content was completed. This is to allow for farming of gear, realism, and prolonged enjoyment of content. If it is still too fast, we can slow it down further.
  • Players that receive any assistance from characters over the current level cap are subject to removal. This does not include selling or buying items, or buffs from a higher level character. It refers mainly to help obtaining otherwise unattainable items through brute force.
  • During raids, all players must be buffed only with spells cast by guild members.  If this becomes a problem, mass dispels will be issued prior to raids.
  • Have FUN! We all want to have fun and enjoy the content. Use common sense and follow the rules so everyone can have a great experience.
