Progression

We feel that Planes of Power is a good launching point for several reasons:
  • Most of us have experienced original EQ in some fashion, and a few of us, several times over. Either during the original release, a true progression server, or on one of many emulated servers. While there is no debate, it was and is still a great experience, at some point, you just get a little tired of the same 1-50 grind. 
  • PoP Travel is enabled. I personally do not want to have to micromanage people and make sure no one is using the books when they shouldn’t be. People will be tempted, some will succumb, drama will ensue. 
  • Clear tiers of progression, lots of content. This will help us get our feet wet with our progression rule set and get into the groove of having restricted access to content that is otherwise available. There’s armor sets to acquire, spells to collect, awesome tradeskill items to quest for, and excellent AAs to aim for. 
  • Does anyone really want to do Vex Thal again?? 

We are starting progression in elemental planes.

This means you are free to level up in any PoP zone you wish, however please do not enter PoTime until all of the elemental bosses have been killed as a guild.

This means: Council of the Rathe (Earth) / Xegony (Air) / Coirnav (Water) / Fennin Ro (Fire)

Once these encounters are defeated, we will enter Plane of Time as a guild. We will farm elementals and time until the guild has eliminated the majority of defiant items. The projected timeline for this is 1 month after Quarm is dead, but the main goal is to get people out of defiant gear, and into elemental/time gear.

Following PoP, we will progress to GoD, OoW, and beyond. We will complete all guild raid progression tasks regularly for all remaining expansions, PoP is the only exception.
